colour palette of obession

You may well know by now of my IM obsession, this current season is all so chic, so comfy, cool and wearable yet able to make you feel so sexy. I am slowly loving up & lay by-ing all my favourites, piece by piece as they drop in stores at Sydney's The Corner Shop and Parlour X.

I can't help it, it is my indulgence and I am certainly not the only one... Madamoiselle Marant can't put a "It Shoe" wrong...

baby blue hydrangea hue

As the summer heat kicks in I am finding my roses and peonies aren't quite lasting the little life they're known for. But on driving up Sydney's Northern Beaches I was taken by the blue hues of Hydrangea blooms & bushes flourishing in the summer sun and on mass!!!!
With thanks to Madonna's recent hate for the Hydrangea they are now on of the most in demand flowers not to mention most expensive! So those lucky enough to have them in you backyard, bring that blue love in for all to see!!! Bring back the humble Hydrangea I say!!!

floral food for thought

A little look in the world where food meets flowers, a match made in heaven in any home if you ask me and so simple to do no matter the space, place or budget.

The two feed off each other beautifully, both based on similar trends and focused on quality of produce and seasons. So next dinner party, if you're cooking at home just for one, whatever the occasion - pick up a bunch of flowers that compliment your dish, your mood or season - you will thank yourself for the little pleasure you have brought in to brighten your home.
