colour palette of obession

You may well know by now of my IM obsession, this current season is all so chic, so comfy, cool and wearable yet able to make you feel so sexy. I am slowly loving up & lay by-ing all my favourites, piece by piece as they drop in stores at Sydney's The Corner Shop and Parlour X.

I can't help it, it is my indulgence and I am certainly not the only one... Madamoiselle Marant can't put a "It Shoe" wrong...

ode de jil sander

A beautiful presentation meets Au Revoir to a master, Mr Raf Simons' finale show for Jil Sander. The seven bouquets arranged in perspex cases were the handiwork of Antwerp-based florist Marc Calle Yes, it is an end of an era but it's also the beginning of an exciting trajectory of Simons' career.  Wherever he goes or does will still be hugely influential to fashion, as his contribution to Jil Sander has been for the past seven years.

summer loving

I am so super pumped for Summer - in my excitement I decided to compile a bit of my summer style inspirations for the coming season.

Accented with of course this month's flower feature & everyone's favourite, the Peony Rose. Only blooming at the height of Spring here in Australia, in November each year. Peonies with their large blowsy, rose-like, fragrant flowers are among the most romantic plants in the world. There are two forms, tree and herbaceous species. The peony is among the longest-used flowers in ornamental culture and is one of the smallest living creature national emblems in China. Along with the plum blossom, it is a traditional floral symbol of China. It is also known as "flower of riches and honour," and is used symbolically in Chinese art.
