As Martha Stewart displays so delightfully, June is the month of the rose. June is also the name of my beautiful mum, and of her birth the 28th of this month. It was her love for the rose and her anticipation of receiving roses each year as I was growing up, that first ignited my passion for the worlds most beloved flower.
